Meet Sunny Pepper

Our in-prison program graduate and mentorship participant is a bright, shining example of why we do what we do. Discover his journey with Resilience Education.

Sunny completed Darden PREP at Dillwyn Correctional Center, graduating from our program in 2019. He pursued his dream of entrepreneurship and is now selling delicious juices and açai bowls at the Treehouse Juice Bar in Staunton, VA.

Sunny joined our post-release network, and with our flagship mentoring program, we have helped Sunny overcome complex business challenges. On June 7, the juice bar celebrated its first anniversary. Congratulations Sunny!
